As the board staff enters their busy season, we remind you that we experience a significant increase in the volume of applications, renewals, phone calls, and emails we receive, which causes delays in our processing and response times.
Please note that our processing times increase to approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date a complete application has been received in our office during our busy season. If you have not heard from the Board Office within six (6) weeks of submitting your application, please do not hesitate to contact our office regarding the status of an application. Prior to six (6) weeks after submitting an application, it will not have been processed. It is extremely critical that applicants carefully review the application instructions and submit a complete packet; otherwise, the processing times mentioned above may increase.
Lastly, when contacting our office, please only leave one voicemail or send us one email. Multiple calls or emails will further delay response time and processing. Your questions are important to us, and we will do our best to respond as soon as possible.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time!
If you have any questions about these applications, please email us at the email provided under the "Contact Us" link above.
Complete application files are emailed to an Application Review Committee for consideration. Review of a complete application file is generally one to two weeks, however, every effort is made to review prior to two weeks.
The Board office will not communicate with any individual except for the applicant regarding the status of any application.
Please be aware the Board will NOT accept cash.
Potential reciprocal applicants should be aware within these exemptions, W.S. 33-47-103(a)(viii) includes: "A nonresident registered dietitian licensed in another state if the requirements for licensure are at least as stringent as the requirements for licensure contained in this act, or registered by the commission if the state of residence does not require licensure, while practicing dietetics in this state for up to twenty (20) days annually."
Continuing Education is required for each renewal. Please review the continuing education page for specific details.
