Wyoming Dietetics Licensing Board

License Required

The Wyoming Dietetics Licensing Board licenses Dietitians. No person may practice as a Dietitian in the State of Wyoming without first obtaining a license from the Board, unless you meet applicable exemptions. Please be aware the Board's Practice Act, Wyoming Statute 33-47-103, lists exemptions.

Potential reciprocal applicants should be aware within these exemptions, W.S. 33-47-103(a)(viii) includes: "A nonresident registered dietitian licensed in another state if the requirements for licensure are at least as stringent as the requirements for licensure contained in this act, or registered by the commission if the state of residence does not require licensure, while practicing dietetics in this state for up to twenty (20) days annually."


Application Process

Complete application files are emailed to an Application Review Committee for consideration. Review of a complete application file is generally one to two weeks, however, every effort is made to review prior to two weeks.

The Board office will not communicate with any individual except for the applicant regarding the status of any application.

Please be aware the Board will NOT accept cash.

To obtain an initial Wyoming license
If license expired within ninety (90) days
If license has been lapsed less than five (5) years
If licensed has been lapsed more than five (5) years
If Wyoming license has been revoked, surrendered, suspended, conditioned, or restricted
